Uskoisi, että kultaisen keskitien hevonen olisi kaikille se ihanteellinen hevonen. Herkkä, mutta ei liian herkkä, vaan juuri sopivasti. Omalla moottorilla toimiva, mutta ei liian energinen ralliauto. Utelias, mutta ei liian säikky tai liian utelias, jonka on pakko kohnata kaikki kiinnostava läpi. Yhteistyöhaluinen, motivoitunut. Helppo. Sellainen on meidän Hesbaye. Ruunikko on helppo myös pistää kuljetukseen kenen kanssa tahansa. Vaikka kyseessä olisi hermoraunio kaveri, Heta pysyy rauhallisena ja hörisee lajitoverilleen että hei, ei tässä mitään hätää ole. Samoin maastoreissuilla tamma on mahtavaa seuraa niille, jotka tahtovat säikkyä tai olla muuten heikoin hermoin liikenteessä.
Ratsuna Heta on aina hyvällä mielellä liikenteessä. Useimmiten siltä löytyy juuri sopivasti energiaa treeniin tai vaikka vain hölkkäilyyn, jos otetaan vähän rennommin. Joinakin päivinä saattaa moottori lämmetä hieman hitaammin, mutta koskaan tammaa ei tarvitse pyytää montaa kertaa lisäämään puita tuleen. Hetaa ratsastaessa tulee lähes poikkeuksetta hyvä mieli: se jaksaa treenata ja kehittyä, hioa vapaaohjelmia timanttiseen kuntoon ja tamma aina yrittää antaa vielä sen muutaman ekstra prosentin yritystä kaupanpäälle. Heta sopii oikeastaan kaiken tasoisille ratsastajille — tamma oikeastaan tekee sen mitä siltä pyydetään, ja se on ihan tyytyväisenä niin haastavista piaffe ja passage treeneistä kuin täydellisten kulmien hiomisesta.
